This refreshing smoothie is not only immune boosting, but contains a super anti-inflammatory spice - turmeric. Enjoy!
- 1 inch piece of fresh or frozen ginger, sliced
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 orange (Peeled and cut in wedges)
- 1 banana (can be frozen or fresh)
- 1/4 cup mixed berries (I always use frozen berries, combo of strawberries, blueberries & blackberries)
- 1 T ground flaxseed
- 1/2 cup non-dairy yogurt ( I used soy blueberry yogurt)
- 1 cup non-dairy milk (I use soy for extra nutrition)
Blend all well. Enjoy!
